Healing Modalities At Oasis Recovery
Begin To Heal At Oasis
At Oasis Recovery Center, our approach to addiction recovery is holistic, meaning we treat the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—not just the addiction. That is why, in conjunction with individual psychotherapy and group therapies, we also offer a wide range of holistic healing modalities to assist and support our clients throughout their addiction treatment program.
Acupuncture has been proven to be extremely effective in the treatment of drug & alcohol addiction recovery programs. At Oasis Recovery we offer clients the option to receive acupuncture treatment from a trained professional once a week. This practice is known to help ease withdrawal symptoms and reduce cravings amongst a number of other benefits.
We incorporate yoga therapy into our addiction treatment program & for good reason. Yoga is very helpful for many reasons including physical & mental well being. Addiction creates a body-wide imbalance that affects the physical and mental health of anyone who suffers from it. In combination with proven treatment methods, yoga therapy can help clients restore balance by managing symptoms.
Mindfulness meditation is incredibly helpful for our clients. One of the first steps in dealing with addiction is identify the unhelpful coping mechanisms which led to addiction in the first place. Meditation will allow clients to focus on themselves to find inner peace, happiness, self-awareness, and self control. Clients will have the opportunity to attend meditation sessions multiple times a week.
Qi Gong Therapy
Qigong or sometimes referred to as “chi kung” or “chi gung” is a traditional Chinese medical practice that originated in ancient China thousands of years ago. At Oasis Recovery we offer comprehensive & evidence-based treatment practices which include weekly Qi Gong practices which help clients decrease anxiety and depression while increasing their physical health and overall well being.
Breathwork therapy is practiced in addiction treatment centers across the United States. We implement this type of therapy in our treatment program for many reasons due to the fact it has been proven to be so effective. The main goal of breathwork therapy is to help our clients achieve a greater sense of self-awareness and trust in their capacity for self-healing. Breathwork therapy is essential to maintain long-term recovery.
